redM’s primary role is to support the organizations and professionals already providing direct, specialized services. We listen to people with lived experience and frontline organizations so that our education, campaigns, and community activities are informed, respectful, and responsive to real needs.

When direct assistance is required, redM seeks to connect individuals and families with qualified service providers rather than attempting to replace them.

When selecting local organizations to support, redM chapters take a relationship-first approach. Before providing funding, resources, volunteers, or public support, chapter leaders seek to understand an organization’s work, leadership, safeguarding practices, community reputation, and actual needs.

redM does not assume that every organization needs the same kind of support. The goal is to listen first and then provide practical assistance that strengthens, rather than duplicates, existing services.
