Human trafficking often hides in plain sight.
We are redM.
We connect professionals to the Movement against human trafficking.
-
We are a 100% volunteer-led organization, with no employees and no facilities, only commitment. We resource, empower, and develop people to make a big impact through small efforts in the fight against human trafficking.
-
We envision a world where ordinary people create extraordinary impact in the fight against human trafficking.
-
We move people from awareness to action, empowering everyday professionals to protect children, support survivors and strengthen communities against human trafficking.
-
Champion Dignity: We uphold respect and compassion in all we do, ensuring every action reflects the value of human life and freedom.
Cultivate Connection: We collaborate openly, communicate honestly, and trust each other’s strengths to move our shared mission forward.
Live with Balance: We lead in health — protecting our wellbeing, setting boundaries, and continuously learning so we can serve with strength and clarity.
Our Story
Founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2019, redM began in Houston with a simple but powerful mission: connect survivor care organizations with professionals willing to donate their skills and expertise through crowdsourced pro bono support. What started as a local effort quickly grew into a movement, giving professionals a meaningful way to take action while learning how to better protect and strengthen their communities. Through awareness campaigns, education, and community engagement, redM has helped people recognize how their unique talents and “superpowers” can create real impact in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation.
As the organization expanded, redM has remained 100% volunteer-led, with operating costs consistently staying under 10% of net proceeds. At its core, redM believes every person moves through a journey from awareness to action, and that this journey not only creates change in the community, but also develops stronger, more conscious leaders. This belief is reflected in the meaning behind the name redM: resourcing professionals, empowering society, developing leaders, and building a movement for change.
Today, redM has taken the model that proved successful in Houston and expanded it into communities around the world. With active volunteer leadership teams across more than 15 chapters, redM continues to turn small actions into lasting global impact.

Together, we're not just making a difference; we're rewriting the narrative of compassion, justice, and empowerment."
